Moving to or from Cedar City
Cedar City is about 50 miles up I-15 from St. George and nearly 3,000 feet higher, home to Southern Utah University and the Utah Shakespeare Festival. Whether you’re moving up from St. George, down from Cedar or in and out of student housing, we cover it.
The run between St. George and Cedar City is one straight shot on I-15. For most homes that means loading and unloading in the same day. Moves that keep going north to Beaver, Utah County or Salt Lake get a walkthrough first, like any long-distance move.
“Moving sucks! But Limitless Moving made it suck much less!! They showed up on time, handled our things with care, nothing broke!!!”

Before a Cedar City move
Cedar gets real winter
Unlike St. George, Cedar City sees snow and ice. If you’re moving between November and March, keep a backup date in mind and clear walkways before the crew arrives.
Book early for semester changes
Moves around Southern Utah University bunch up at the start and end of semesters. Moving in May or August? Ask for a quote early.
Keep the fragile stuff with you
Plants, candles and electronics don’t love a hot truck. In summer, ride them up in your car.
Get the inventory right
With 50 miles between houses, a forgotten storage unit means a second trip. List everything when you request a quote.

Cedar City moving questions
Can you move a student into SUU housing?
Yes. Tell us the building, floor and move-in window your housing office assigned, and we’ll schedule around it.
Do you move from Cedar City to St. George, too?
Yes, both directions, and on to anywhere else in Utah or out of state.
How long does a St. George to Cedar City move take?
For most homes it’s a single day: load in the morning, drive about an hour, unload. Bigger homes or full packing can take longer, and your estimate will say so.
